Adolescent Group Classes

Feel like your adolescent dog has forgotten EVERYTHING, almost overnight? Have no fear, you are not alone.

The teenage stage can be really challenging, both for our dogs, and for us! Hormones are flying around, they seem to have lost all interest in engaging with us, and can even demonstrate behaviours you thought you’d long left behind in Puppyhood!

These classes are designed to put you and your pooch back on track, building up engagement, life skills, and working on that all important relationship.

Who can take part?

  • Dogs age 9 months to 2 years.

  • All breeds, sizes, and backgrounds welcome!

  • Open to all training abilities! Whether you aced puppy classes, or are ready to learn the basics.

  • Local to, or can travel to Coulsdon - Location TBC.

What will we cover?

  • Reward Markers (and how to use them!)

  • Boosting engagement!

  • Relaxing in public places

  • Practicing calm greetings

  • Essential life skills: emergency stop, recall from distractions, stay, loose leash walking.

*These classes are not suitable for dogs presenting with reactive or aggressive behaviour. Please contact me directly if you are unsure if your dog is suitable for the class environment.
